Painting is an application which provides a protective barrier between treated surfaces and the atmosphere. Besides being a decorative finish, its scope is to ensure a long lifetime and preserve the painted objects from environmental agents, corrosion and other similar threats.

Powder coating is a procedure by which an organic layer is applied over metallic surfaces for decorative or protective reasons against corrosion or other aggressive threats.

Powder coating is often chosen to paint many different objects since, besides being easy to apply in full automation with a full recovery of the overspray, being solvent free it doesn’t develop noxious fumes. 

A typical plant includes a pre-treatment tunnel, a drying oven, single or multi-colour powder application booths, a curing oven, a single or bi-rail overhead conveyor.
